During the weekend, there were incredibly nice competition conditions in Bad Gastein, Austria, where the Ski Classic season began. And for the Team Eksjöhus riders, who we as a proud sponsor follow a little extra, it ended up in top-10 positions for several of the riders.
On Saturday, a tempo race of 13 kilometers was carried out, a race where Ida Dahl topped the podium after the races. Kati Roivas and Frida Erkers from Team Eksjöshus finished in 7th, repskeitve 8th place.
Ole Jorgen Bruvoll and Amund Hoel came in joint first place in the men's competition. And gratifyingly, Morten Eide Pedersen, from Team Eksjöhus, managed to grab the bronze medal - just ahead of teammate Axel Jutterström.
During Sunday's long run of 36.4 kilometers, Emelie Fleten was victorious. For Team Eksjöhus it was a successful competition where Frida Erkers, Sofie Elebro and Kati Roivas came 4th, 5th, repsepktive 6th.
The men's race was won by Kasper Riege after a sprint. Team Eksjöhus Axel Jutterström ran a good race and finished in 5th place, barely four minutes behind the winner.
The standings between the teams after the weekend's premier competitions is that Team Eksjöhus is in joint first place together with Team Engcon. The next competition is in La Venosta, Italy, 16 - 17 December.
