Ski Classic back after New Year

The Ski Classic series returned strongly after the New Year's weekend with an exciting competition on January 13 in the picturesque ski area 3 Zinnen Sexten in South Tyrol, close to the border with Austria. The participants were faced with a challenging distance of 62 kilometers.

Team Eksjöhus once again welcomed Magni Smedås, the second place holder from the Ski Classic season 22/23, back to the team after a period of back problems.

On the women's side, Kati Rovas from Team Eksjöhus impressed with a strong performance, where she finished in an honorable second place, only three minutes behind the winner Ida Dahl from Team Engcon. Magni Smedås made a comeback with a fifth place in his first race of the season, which shows his continued strong form.

For the men, Team Eksjöhus junior, Axel Jutterström, also had an impressive race and finished in fifth place. The competition was dominated by Andreas Nygaard from Team RAGDE Charge who took home the victory.

After this competition, Team Eksjöhus takes the lead in the team competition with their 960 points, followed by Team Engcon who is in second place with 860 points.

The next stop for the Ski Classic series is the Engadin La Diagonela in Pontresina-zuoz, Switzerland, which takes place on January 20. This competition challenges the participants with a 55 kilometer course.
